feel so much older...
By Rose

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi everyone. I guess I feel old when I say that I was 32 when I got married. (We are about to celebrate our 2nd anniversary in August). I guess I did a lot of things late in life. I waited quite a few years before returning
to school for my masters. So, I am a career changer and a teacher who only completed her first year of teaching last year. For me, I think that this age was perfect. In my 20s, I didn't really know what I wanted in a job or a guy. I felt very unsettled. I met my husband as I was just starting to take my masters courses. He was so supportive of me. It was a stressful time, working full
time, going to school and planning a wedding. I look back and can't believe I did it. I even planned the wedding on August 19 so that I could take 2 summer classes. (The second one ended on August 17!!! Talk about cutting it close). Well, if you want something, you will find a way. I am glad I waited until this age to get married and to become a teacher. I have more patience now and feel comfortable with who I am.

On the other hand, my older sister was married when she was 18 and just celebrated her 20th anniversary. Obviously, for her, she was ready. We're all different. The most important thing is that we're happy!!! Best to all
