Discouraging

I, too, was surprised and upset by the majority of these posts. I believe that homosexuality is sin, and not what God had in mind for mankind when He created us. God is not a tolerant God- He does not tolerate sin. And
He made a place for those who choose to live a life of sin and not acknowledge Him as Lord in their lives. My source? The Bible, God's Holy Word. If God were "tolerant" there would be no right and no wrong and therefore nothing would be sin. A person would be justified in killing (after all, his rights were denied or she was discriminated against) or stealing or lying, etc. This has become

a society of no absolutes where everything depends and anything can be justifiable. Christians, acknowledging that some things still are wrong, are seen as intolerant bigots or in the very least, just plain mean, unlike those who kindly tolerate the deviance of our world.How wise of Satan! I've already lost credibility to many who may read this just because I claim Christ as my Lord. But I say this in love, because even one person may somehow heed what I'm saying before it's too late. Only in God can you find true peace and joy on earth, and only because of His Son Jesus can we accept the eternal life in Heaven He offers us. Those who don't accept Him will go to Hell. Not because God is mean or hates us. It is because He is just and fair and loves us and wants us to be with Him in Heaven. This is the only way I can respond to the original post and subsequent posts. Read the Bible for more information. I believe that God, our Creator, has the answers to all of life's questions, incuding this one. And JJ, I wish you peace and joy.
