I have never had a rude principal so far. But you described is my experience with a teacher on my team who would constantly barge into my room and scream at my kids for doing something from her previous class. She also slammed my door so hard that the lock broke. This was my first year in that school and if I go back this year I will definately not allow her angry behavior in my classroom. I know you can't say anything to a principal, so I would absolutely find a new school. You were just VERY unlucky. Did your principal react this way to the other teachers?
