The long (and short) of it.

Wow, our day is pretty easy compared to most of yours. We go from 7:45 to 2:10. Every Wednesday, we get out at 1:30 for staff meeting which is only about ten to twenty minutes, typically. Our kids are only in class for an hour an a half at a time. At 9:25, we have our first fifteen minute recess. Then from 9:45 to 11am we are in class. Lunch is from 11 to 12, then we are in session again until 1:25. We have a short ten minute break from 1:25 to 1:35, then we leave at 2:10. It is actually hard to schedule any lessons because of all the breaks, but it does help the kids a bit. This is third grade, by the way. The older kids are a bit different but the overall times are still the same, 7:45 to 2:10.
