Harry Potter

Have you checked out the Harry Potter web site? One of the features is an animated sorting hat. It might be fun to have the kids log on and get sorted. Then they could make banners like they have in the great hall. You could seat them according their houses and have group projects accordingly. Of course, this might not come out evenly so you might want to have your own sorting hat and draw names out or something. It would be a great opening activity. Just a couple of thoughts
