Harry Potter
By Tabitha/5th

Clip to ScrapBook
First of all what grade level? I taught Harry Potter in my 5th grade class two years ago and it took along time to get through the book. My students liked it, but it took along time. I got a teacher's Literary Guide from
my local teacher store and used that. It had all the vocabualary listed that would be difficlut for kids and great activites that I used with my kids. I think it was by scholastic its not a home right now. You can have them write a letter from the perspective of Harry about Howarts. You can have them create their own magiical spells or create their own magical creaters that they would want
to keep as a pet. You can compare Hogwarts school to your school to see the difference from magic to real. Keep a chart of all the major events that take place in the story. Do charactator analysis on the main charaters. Keep a list of them and their traits. Thats all I can think of right now. Hope it helps you some. Email me if you need any more ideas.
