ECE hopeful

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. I went for an ECE job interview and was offered the position on the spot, but I am NOT a spec ed major. I only have an "endorsement" or "approval" from the state becuase I took a class entitled "Exceptional Children". So, basically you never know! You don't know what they're looking for. I would suggest emphasis on your spec ed major. Talk about being a "team player" (working co-operatively with other members of the ECE team), being open to suggestions and ideas and learning from more experienced peers.
