Lighthouse theme

Hi Kristi V. I have also decided to try out a light house theme for the first time (4th graders).
FYI - The Mailbox Bookbag Magazine's June/July 2002 issue devotes a few pages to lighthouse ideas for the classroom as well as lighthouse literature. Most teacher stores carry the magazine or you may be able to contact them and get the back issue at mailboxcompaion.com. If you have any problems I can copy pages from my issue and snail mail them to you. Good luck.
