Lighthouses

Kristi, my 3rd grade coteacher used the lighthouse theme last year and loved it. It was not too juvenile at all. You can find hundreds of lighthouse posters in inspirational magazines and even online. They are actual pictures of the lighthouses. You will also find that students will help you decorate your room because eveytime they see a lighthouse while they're out, they end up picking it up for you. I got her a really cute inexpensive lighthouse lamp for her desk. That is definitely a theme that you can find things outside the teacher stores and it doesn't have to be too cutesy. Enjoy!!!!!
