Labeling
By Terri

Clip to ScrapBook
Labeling is great, but it means more to the child if he/she is involved with the labeling. Write the words in front of the child, spelling as you write, then attach to the object. To speed up the process, instead of writing it. Show the word, ask for guesses to the word. Read it, spell it, then attach. Another way I have labeled alittle later in the year- brainstorm words that you want to label, give the words to the children to copy and attach their labels to objects.
