tough situation

Every district is different, but if there are few job openings then full time positions might not be available. The district that I'm trying to get a position with has to offer any openings to people who had full time positions within that district and got laid off for whatever reason (shifting class sizes, budget cuts, etc). Therefore, there are seldom open positions after all the teachers have been shifted and moved around. Hang in there!
