I don't like talking in front of parents either! A few years ago, I decided to make a Video to "show" the parents what goes on in a typical 2nd grade classroom. I video the major parts of the day, (e.g. morning meeting, reading, math, lunch, recess, and specials.) Different children narrate the video. It takes several days to do, if you want to include all of the specials. Parents love to see their kids on the screen! It makes a great presentation, and then you have much less to talk about! Have fun.
