switching to 6th grade

One important thing to remember is to treat them like young adults. Treat the student as you would like to be treated--with respect and kindness. Maybe have the kids help establish rules for the whole class to follow--this gives them a sense of control. Good Luck!! I teach 6th grade and love it--most days
