Turning off the lights
By Jay

Clip to ScrapBook

Turning off/on the lights is also a good signal, especially if students are involved in
"noisier" group work or you just want to save your voice.
@@@Whenever I turn off the lights, they will scream louder! Some of them will try to mock your hand signals in some instances. I have used "Let's get started" as a signal. Verbal cues can work. Of all the signals, I find turning off the lights ineffective in a clas with no windows. Some of the girls can really shreak and yell!
