place value

The third grade Superbook from The Mailbox has some great place value activities. One that I liked was the place value BINGO game. Make a 4X4 BINGO board labeled Ones, Tens, Hundreds, and Thousands respectively. The students fill in the board with their name in one spot (their FREE space) and numerals from 0-9 in the other boxes. To play, call out a number like 19. If they have a 1 in the tens column and/or a 0 in the ones place they may cover thaat/those spaces. If you like I can e-mail you the board I made.
