disappointment

I agree with the above poster about lack of parental support, etc. In fact, I was typing the same answer as she posted hers. I find it disheartening that students don't have parental support at home. Many parents never come for conference, never encourage children, and don't provide nurturing atmospheres for them. There are many wonderful parents out there, of course. But, it is really disappointing to me how little support some children have. I hope this helps... Good Luck!!
