envelopes
By Monica

Clip to ScrapBook
I think you'd be fine mailing your resume in a large manila or white envelope, rather than one that matched your resume paper. The envelope gets thrown away anyway, so most people who see your materials won't ever know.
Manila or white would be a lot less expensive, too.

But if you really want something to match your resume paper, check your yellow pages under "paper" to see if there's a paper store in your area that caters to printers and desktop publishers. I go to a big warehouse-type paper store that sells paper and envelopes of all kinds and sizes.

If you don't have one of those near you, check

with a local small printer (the kind that prints wedding invitations, business cards and other small jobs.) They should be able to order the envelopes you want from their suppliers.
