Center Ideas

Try the book called Is it Friday Already? by Greta Rasmussen ISBN 0-936110-00-7. It's written by a thrid grade teacher and is full of inexpensive, easy-to-make centers for your classroom. Although I use my centers differently than described in the book, I still have found many helpful ideas. Many of the center ideas in the book are the kind that students can work on throughout the day as they finish their work.
