career switch

I had the same reaction when I switched from being an electronic technician to an elem. teacher. I guess everyone assumes that you're not switching for the money (obviously), so it HAS to be something else. I actually feel sorry for people that haven't found a job they love - and dread going to work everyday. I love teaching and have no desire to be an electronic tech. again. I do work harder now, but when you love what you do, it's so different. I guess it's like parenting - it's so hard sometimes but the rewards are unbelieveable!!
