If the argument can be made that a classroom consisting of a majority of children who are Christian can't say a prayer together before eating their noon meal because the one child who is not a Christian and who chooses not to pray could be singled out and possibly rejected by his peers, then why is that same argument not made for the children who can't participate in Sex Ed because their parents didn't sign a permission form? Why can't we just sign a consent form to let our kids say the pledge with the inclusion of our God? (That may be getting a little off the subject, but it really was crucial to my argument about the parental consent forms.)
