4-blocks
By Jeri

Clip to ScrapBook
Jo, you definately should look into the 4 blocks. I dabbled in it year before last, trying in the last quarter or the year. Last year, I implemented it full force, and LOVED it. Teaching is so much more exciting and rewarding now that I have been implementing 4 blocks. Another idea, there is a 4 blocks chat board on teachers.net that has been a huge source of info for me. You might try reading previous posts in the archives to get you more info in addition to the books list by the other posters. Start out with the teachers guide to 4 blocks, and get the month by month phonics book for 3rd gr. too. There are lots and lots of resources out there....
