Clip to ScrapBook
Worksheets are completely inappropriate for preschool kids. I taught preschool and kindergarten. I never used worksheets in kindergarten either. Real "thinking" stuff comes from doing, not from worksheets. I don't think
there's a real benefit at all from them, even in the upper grades.

With that said, sometimes kids see older siblings doing them and may ask or bring some in to work on to do "school stuff" . In that case, I don't see any real harm with kids playing with them. Sometimes they may make up their own rules to them and come up with some creative stuff. If its their choice and they add

some creativity then I don't see the harm in it occasionally if its initiated by them. However, on a weekly or daily basis, i think its a waste of their time. Especially when we start to mark answers "wrong". Too much pressure for a preschooler.
