Help for your first year
By Michelle Foster

Clip to ScrapBook
It is very important to set the ground rules with your students. WE always read Officer BUckle and Gloria and then we create our own classroom rules together. they are posted for the entire year and every kid signs the rule list saying that they agree and believe in the rules. A list goes home for our parents to read and sign too so that they are aware of what we are doing in school.

We also review classroom routines the entire first month of school so that everyone is in the know of what is expected of them.
I hope this helps
