I have found after trying to keep straight who already had what job and who had not had a chance, that having a Helper of the Week works best. I don't have to put my brain to work on a Friday afternoon sorting out my jobs. I also don't have to keep turning to the helper board to see who does what. I have all the kids names on a half sheet of paper that I did on PrintMaster. I laminate them and mix u the order. I take the top name, post it under my helper sign, and that is my person for the week. If it's a short week, they don't have as many days, but the kids don't mind. At the end of the week, I put the helper's name at the bottom of my stack and take the top name for the next week.
