    @Yes. We would gather in lounge and talk about how rowdy they were. But tenured teachers get off easy on evaluations.
    @I don't admit to being perfect. But I didn't have the bad experiences substituting or student teaching. I think block scheduling, floating from room to room, mainstreamed special education students, the age level among other things were to blame. And I should have been more assertive with the administration! I should have threatened to quit when I was floating from one end of the top floor to the other end of the bottom floor in 5 minutes. I wrote so many referrals that it was pathetic. First year teachers need support. Some teachers are blessed with an exciting personality but most don't. I get so sick of contradictory solutions to teaching. Let's all get on the same page so to speak! But I do see other people here blaming THEMSELVES but the goofy posters here demand that I do this which sucks big time!! Oh well...
