Clip to ScrapBook
Buy a toe ring! Get a foot massage! Henna your feet to look like Sam-N-Libby slippers...then nobody would even notice you bare feet! I would not pull my kid out of your class based solely (Ha-Ha!)on your bare feet if they
were learning and enjoying school! That would be silly! As a former Pre-K and Kdg. teacher, I know that what it takes to be a professional with the little folks is not always the same as "professionalism" everywhere else. Personally, I find it very painful and difficult to do the "Bunny Hop" in heels or "Listen and Move" like a snake in a tailored skirt! When you put your shoes on
before you leave the classroom, your students will see you in your "professional mode," and they will know that when you enter your classroom you feel comfortable with them, that they are loved, and that they are part of your family of learners.
