Where the Wild Things Are!
By Hermie

Clip to ScrapBook
I recently saw a REALLY cute reading area that revolved around "Where the Wild Things Are." This could work with many levels of students.

The teacher made large cutouts of the wild things for the wall. Green and black crepe paper (streamers) were hanging from the ceiling (use green and brown raffia as vines from the ceiliing). She had a leopard print throw rug on the floor, pillows covered with animal prints (zebra, etc.) and stuffed animals (such as a lion).

It was a very inviting area!!
