I was in the same situation two years ago going from most my experience being middle school and high school. Teacher's helper is an excellent magazine and the mailbox magazine for students at this level. The teacher created monthly books were a life saver too. I also use Frank Schaffer products. These resources are a good start for doing themes. Your enthusiasm will get you through. Good luck.
