Inclusion By Pam

You are so right ATTENDANCE IS NOT INTEGRATION and some students do lose out. We play that same game here. Place our students into a class as a body without support. That is not integration. I like my self contained and have said this numerous times on this board. Personally I have just had horrible experiences with inclusion. There have been maybe a handful of success stories but these students were very independent. I do agree though that students need social opportunities to be integrated with their peers during parts of the day.
