How wonderful that you and your kids had the opportunity to hear her read! She is just fabulous and such an advocate for literature. I encourage anyone who hasn't read her book "Reading Magic" to pick it up. It's common sense knowledge about reading to our children, but such a good reminder of how to promote reading instead of forcing it. I've had several friends have their mothers and in-laws and husbands read it!
