I am also going from 3rd to 4th grade! I would suggest.. Island of the Blue dolphins... any Dear America book but I try to focus on my standards.. to see what I have to cover and relate a book from there.. another good one.. The Wump World.. or a children's favorite by Julie Andrews Edwards.. is The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles... it covers some science standards.. but is more of a fantasy that kids love.. another awesome one is.. Sadako and the Thousand Paper cranes... have fun reading! Anne
