Idea
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
The idea I loved is for a Scavenger Hunt. Have the parent(s) and child going around your classroom and the hallway looking for items that the student will need to be aware of. For instance, there are pictures of the bathroom, water fountain, block center, etc. (I can't remember them all.) The parents are instructed to bring the scavenger hunt sheet back when all the items are found and the student will receive a treat. It also has a parent note that is to be sent to the parents before Back-to-School Night explaining the Scavenger Hunt.
