Clip to ScrapBook
I've used both of these with 7th graders, and plan to use with 4th this year - my older kids loved it, but it's easy enough to adapt to any age! "Rosie's Walk" is great for prepositions - make an 8 page book, choose an animal and an event (like the walk), each page is a prep phrase, and illustrate! Also used "Fortunately" by Remi Charlip for cause and effect - again made 8 page book, kids made up their own cause and effect story, alternated between fort. and unfort. pages, and illustrated!
