How about Pig Out on Books and read books about Pigs for a month. Also, you could create pig snouts for students to wear. After reading a piggy book, you could do this with pencil/paper or on a computer. Type or writeThis little piggy went to __________.

This little piggy had _______________.
This little piggy had none.
This little piggy went ___________ all the way home. Have students complete the sentences. I did this last year with the 1st graders in computer class and their responses were hilarious! Their pigs went to Kroger's, stayed at Grandma's, ate chicken legs, and went Yippee, Yippee, all the way home!
