interviews and resumes
By Sue

Clip to ScrapBook
I can very much relate to what you are experiencing with sending out resumes and not getting even called for an interview. I questioned my resume also. I had someone qualified look at my resume and cover letter. I was advised not to use the cover letter to just sumerize the resume. Basically, don't make it repetitive. I changed the heading style to make it more appealing to the eye. It's amazing how simple changes can make all the difference! I can sure sympathize with you, as you invest so much of your energy into the cover letter and resume. I finally had to let my own ties to it go so I was able to be more objective about my own resume. It really pays off in the end, as you almost can feel it's more effective. Best of luck to you!
