Clip to ScrapBook
When I subbed for first grade, each child had five (I believe) popsicle sticks with their names on them. These sticks were in a pouch (maybe you could use shoe bags?). When they do something bad, after the initial warning, have them move one of their sticks to a different area. At the end of the week you can give rewards to the students who have all five sticks left. Another great idea is to assign each student a number. Write the numbers on individual popsicle sticks. When you need a volunteer, you pull a stick. If you pull number 1, student 1 (ABC order) is the student who you call on. This helps with board work, such as D.O.L., etc. Good luck!
