I am a first year teacher that is going to be teaching 4th grade in Indiana. I also have the same question that you have posted. Some things that I have been thinking about trips to Conner Prairie, Indiana Museum, and also an idea of where the students use a cardboard, and make the state of Indiana using a flour/salt/water mix. I can not remember the recipe, but am trying to recall. If you have any other 4th grade ideas, please post
