glyphs

Hi Helen,
Try the website www.halfmoon.org
It has directions for writing names in heiroglyphics...are these the glyphs you want? If so, you could make a board with their names in glyphs, assign them partners, give
them a key and directions, and have them find their names on the board. When they do, they could write a short bio of themselves to hang under their name. As an extension, they could write and add their last name in glyphs and add to their space on the board after decorating it. You could decorate the border in some sort of Mayan art...something geometric looking...this website has some
ideas. Also, there are Arctic glyphs as well. Your glyph idea is great for multi-culturalism! Can't think of a title right now for your board, but I'll let you know if I do. Good luck.
