this past year

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, I've always been told that I have strong classroom management skills - but my first class really put me too the test. I was firm, but also realized that I had to implement a reward system. Around March :-) everything
was going smoothly and we all worked well together right up until the last day of school. It ended up being a very rewarding year, even with my few "gems" that I can write a book about. I know that I will make this year work - I have to so I don't go stir crazy. I just am missing what I went into teaching for...making a bond with a classroom of 25 - 30 kids. Creating that lifelong
sense of belonging in a classroom. With 550 kids that I've never met before, I'm very scared and I'm terrifed about how to manage each of the classes, and wondering how will I ever manage it all. But, I KNOW I WILL.
