Boy, I think Laura hit the nail right on the head, or should I say foot!What on earth would make you want to be barefoot? If comfort is the only reason, maybe as a way to celebrate your new promotion of yours woudl be | to spend a little time at your local shoe store!! There are MANY comfortable shoes out there!! Right in line with Larua, it IS a health concern and YES! It WOULD bother me if you 'attempted' to teach my child in bare feet. As a teacher YOU are supposed to be a role model, I am not sure running a center barefooted is the image you want to be protraying?? I am not sure working barefoot | |
protrays courage as much a self centeredness/ego.Yes, you are probably a good teacher, but to put your needs above and beyond the health concerns of the children entrusted into your care is unconsionable to me. Enjoy your new promotion and consider yourself lucky as no school I am aware of would allow that type of behavior.
