TURTLE THEME!

I think this is a great theme. I used it my very first year of teaching. I used the Aesop Fable The Tortoise and the Hare as the reason for it. It's motto is "Slow and steady wins the race" and we discussed how this could apply to students and why it's important to work slowly and steadily instead of rushed and how even the slowest of the bunch can be successful. For bulletin boards you could use the title "Keeping on Track," your student of the week could be "Top Turtle," etc. Good luck. If you think of any more ideas please post them! Maybe I'll use this theme again!
