Fishing for Knowledge

One bulletin board idea is "We're Fishing For Knowledge in 2nd Grade" You can have a blue back ground with waves on it. In the water you can have all different colored fish with your students names on them at the bottom with
cut out plants. Then at the top you can make a fishing pole from a rod and some fishing wire with a fake worm on it. The worm can have a buble saying "Welcome to 2nd Grade"
You can have a board in your reading corner that has a giant whale on it saying "We are having a Whale of a time Reading" Then you can put little cut outs of books around it that has all the book titles that you

read aloud to kids or are going to read aloud.

YOu can make up centers that the children need to go fishing for a card that matches the other card. You can use this for any concept you are teaching. You can get the little rods, fishing wire, and magnets at your local arts and crafts store. Your kids will have a blast using them.
