Homework at Recess

Personally I like the idea of them losing recess time if they don't turn in homework. Some parents think that's wrong, but the way we look at it is like this: If they choose not to do homework (because they're playing), then they're choosing to not have recess (because they'll be doing homework!). Yes, they are still required to do their homework sitting outside (or standing as some teachers do) while the other kids are playing. It doesn't "excuse" them from the assignment, they still have to do it. It's their choice.
