Four Blocks and Basals
By Lori 2

Clip to ScrapBook
According to Pat Cunningham and Dottie Hall, Four Blocks works well as the method of presentation with most basals. They do not think Open Court works with Four Blocks.

There are many Four Blocks experts there that can answer this question much better than I can since I prefer to use trade books. There are also articles by Cheryl Sigmon that are linked at this site. She wrote the Four Blocks for Upper Grades and I believe at least one of her articles addresses this question.

Good luck and I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

Lori
