Lunch Choices...
By 4th grade teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I would put every students name on a popsicle stick. Then, I would make a giant hamburger with a HOT LUNCH title, an apple with a sandwich with a COLD LUNCH title, and a lunch sack with an ALTERNATE LUNCH title. Next, glue
a pocket onto each one and students can put their popsicle stick in the right pocket.

OR

Get some food themed material and a nice border. Put the title "What's For Lunch?" up on the board. Put a pocket for every student. Make a can of sticks with a big "H" on the end, a can with a big "C", and a can with a big "O" When students come in, they can pick a hot, cold, or other stick

and put it in their pocket. Now you have not only taken attendance, because you can easily see who's pocket doesn't have a stick, but you have your lunch count by counting the number of H's, C's , and O's.
