teaming

I have teamed for the past 3 years in 4th grade. We have 3 teachers and we team with most of our subjects. 3x a day one teaches Math , one teaches science and spelling and I teach Reading and Language. All three of us teach| our own homeroom Soc. Studies. We have to teach the required number of minutes each week - and we have always divided it equally each day (which I am not sold on since some topics could use more than 45 minutes a day). You may add in more of your key subjects and have each teacher focus upon that and all teach the "smaller" subjects. It truly depends upon the time you have available and | |
scheduling the trades just takes patience!!!Another suggestion may be to have the fifth teach do some sort of enrichment dealing with the two subjects. I can't help with the rotations of classes since, as I said before, it just takes patience. Good Luck! Teaming is great when it is done together. Lisa
