Saxon reply

Clip to ScrapBook
This will be my third year with Saxon in 4th grade. I have been teaching for 15 years and I have never taught with a Math program like this...No the students do not get bored...they love it...it is far from the traditonal approach and you have to work hard to incorporate any games and activities into the program...but if you keep to the 4 lessons aweek format, you should have time to work them in...I am amazed at the concepts Hake and saxon have worked into Math 54. square roots, percentages, decimals, fractions...I was hard pressed to cover all of that with conventional programs...and it is easy to teach...My students were actively involved in the learning..we talked about Mr. saxon like he was in the room with us!!!...enjoy!
