Open rooms

I feel for you having to work like this. I went to school in an open room school, and I now teach at the same school. The district remodeled the school and added walls, but no doors. In my room last year there were walls, but still three open door spaces. Two went into another room and one into the hall, so there was still no privacy. You could hear everything and everything could be heard. All of the hall noise and restroom noise came right in. I don't know who thought of the open idea, but it was not a good thing. I don't have any advice other than what has been offered, but I do sympathize with you !
