Clip to ScrapBook
Some literacy centers my kids enjoy are Reading, (choose familiar books from their book baskets and READ), Big Book Center, (practice reading big books we have read in class for fluency), Computers, (with reading and math skills practiced), Writing, (choose their own piece, use a story starter, journal writing, etc...depending on what's up for the week/month), Listening, (stories on tape and reading along), Word works, (magnetic letters/words to make sentences, stories, etc...), Math, (linked to literacy), Blends center, (I have a chart with all different blends. Children have to make up as many different words using each blend), Vowel bingo. If I think of any more, I'll post. Good luck!
