Somebody Else's Problem
By been there

Clip to ScrapBook
Although I am staying at my school with the evil principal, I sure hope he ignores me next year and moves on to somebody else to criticize. Thing is, this was my first year, and the man rode me hard. He nit-picked everything,
making comments that others said were really stupid. I found support in a second-year teacher who said that the principal had made similar useless comments to him the year before (this guy's first year). Now my hope is that another first-year teacher will come in next year and distract the principal from criticizing me. Although I hate to wish something so cruel on somebody I don't
even know yet, I feel like it's almost the new teacher's responsibility now to meet the principal's need to criticize. Other teahcers and I have put in our time.
